Job summary

Benihana - San Diego is seeking a Server Assistant to support our service team in a high-volume dining environment. You’ll help set and reset tables, assist servers, and ensure guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

This tipped position requires a guest-first mindset, ability to multitask, and strong communication. Must stand for long periods, carry trays, and work nights, weekends, and holidays. We use eVerify to confirm U.S. Employment eligibility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and help deliver an elevated dining experience.
• Collaborate with servers to deliver food, answer questions, and maintain table standards.
• Run food and beverages efficiently with accuracy and proper placement.
• Pre-bus, reset tables between courses, and maintain cleanliness of tables and service areas.
• Assist with table setups, stock service stations, and other front-of-house tasks.
