Lore Group's Riggs Washington DC is hiring a Server Assistant to support our dining team in delivering smooth service in a historic setting near Penn Quarter. You will set and reset tables, refill waters, and assist with food running while staying organized and friendly.

Experience is preferred but not required; a warm personality and strong teamwork are essential. The role offers a starting hourly rate of $10.30 plus tips and a comprehensive benefits package in DC.

Riggs Washington DC sits on the iconic downtown corner of Penn Quarter’s 9th and F Street in a historic building once home to Riggs National Bank. Each of the Hotel’s 181 guest rooms offers a playful nod to the building’s legacy. Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Café Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan – a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan.

Server Assistant Essential Functions

• Support servers and bartenders during service to ensure a smooth and efficient flow
• Set, clear, and reset tables according to service standards
• Refill water and other table necessities as needed
• Assist with food running and table maintenance when required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service stations
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally

Compensation

$10.30 per hour plus tips
