Job summary

St. Louis Country Club in Missouri is seeking a Server Assistant to support the dining team. You will greet Members and guests, deliver food, and help ensure a seamless service with a strong sense of urgency throughout shifts.

This role offers evening and weekend work, opportunities to staff a variety of events, and a friendly, open environment on a maintained property with personalized member service. Free meals and holiday pay are included as benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with proper table etiquette preferred.
• Knowledge of food and beverage preferred.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to train.

Job description

As a Server Assistant at St. Louis Country Club, you will be expected to uphold the highest level of service for our Members and guests while maintaining a friendly attitude. Working as a team to ensure the highest quality service is of utmost importance.

SLCC offers you an opportunity to work a variety of different events in an open and fun environment surrounded by a beautiful, maintained property. Our services are personalized to each Member and we ensure an excellent dining experience. The main focus of this position will be to tray and deliver food to the members and guests during dining service. There are also other tasks associated with this position, and can vary depending on the service needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience with proper table etiquette (Preferred)
• Knowledge of food and beverage (Preferred)
• Previous experience working in hospitality / customer service (Preferred, willing to train the right candidate)
• Candidates must be reliable, capable of working as part of a team.
• Must be comfortable lifting items up to 50 lbs. trays (Required).

SLCC is looking for individuals who are interested in full or part time evening/weekend work and day shifts available.

Normal working hours are Tuesday through Sunday, including some holidays and occasional Mondays.
