Job summary

Troon Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, is seeking a seasonal part-time Server Assistant to support Food & Beverage service in a fast-paced hospitality setting. No experience required; training provided. You’ll help with filling waters, clearing and resetting tables, and event setup, while contributing to a friendly guest experience.

This six-month seasonal role offers staff meals and opportunities for scholarships for staff and dependents, with a path to grow within the Troon family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• No experience needed.
• Ability to read and speak English to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Assist Food & Beverage servers in all aspects of the dining experience including filling waters and dropping bread at each table upon guest arrival.
• Clear tables throughout the meal and reset tables when guests depart.

Troon Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a seasonal part-time Server Assistant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

This is a seasonal position with an expected duration of six months or less.

As a Server Assistant we expect you to:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Assist Food & Beverage servers in all aspects of the dining experience including filling waters and dropping bread at each table upon guest arrival.
• Clear tables throughout the meal and reset tables when guests depart.
• Prepare service items for each shift which includes polishing glasses and silverware.
• Assist in event set up and break down.
• No experience needed.
• Staff meals provided each shift, scholarship opportunities available for staff and their dependents.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with arms and hands; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches; talks or hears.

Occasionally sits; climbs or balances.

Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 40 pounds.

Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions.

Noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:

• Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
