Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a part-time Greeter to welcome guests and guide them to seating. This role focuses on creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering attentive service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The position offers on-site work with training provided; no prior experience required, but an outgoing attitude and reliable attendance are important. Healthcare and retirement benefits are available.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes each guest with a smile and friendly greeting and escorts them to their assigned table.
• Controls the flow of work in the room by seating guests in station rotation while maintaining guest lists and following and enforcing check issue procedures.
• Assigns opening or closing side duties. Supervises side work and ensures completed setups of all stations before departure of service staff.
• Maintains the reservation book, takes incoming telephone calls, and notes reservations and special requests from guests.
• Remains knowledgeable of all menu items, prices, and general service procedures.
• Maintains standards of appearance and cleanliness in all service areas.
• Remains visible on the dining room floor and is easily accessible to guests, staff, and management.
• Checks all tables daily before service to ensure proper settings.
• Assists with side work and supports service staff with bussing tables and taking cocktail orders.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the department manager.
• Works to create a memorable and enjoyable experience for golfers and diners alike.
