Job summary

Pacific Hospitality Group in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking entry-level dining room staff to help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area and to provide expeditious service to guests. You will assist servers, clear tables, and ensure safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.

You will also contribute to a positive guest experience by upholding high standards of hospitality, teamwork, and reliability. This role is on-site and provides opportunities to grow with a family-focused hospitality

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience desired.
• Possess a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, hotel service standards, guest relations and etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Meticulously cleans and sets dining room tables and booths as directed.
• Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests.
• Maintains a constant flow of soiled dishes to the kitchen and clean supplies to the dining room.
• Clears dishware and flatware as necessary throughout the dinner service.
• Completes pre, running, and post shift side-work requirements (i.e. rollups, condiments, etc.) as directed.
• Provides expeditious service to each guest without sacrificing quality.
• Ensures water glasses are full throughout the meal.
• Follows all standard food handling, sanitation, RBS and health department guidelines.
• Must wear non-slip, oil-resistant shoes
• Follows all safety policies and procedures
• Reports potential safety issues to manager whenever observed and takes immediate action to resolve in emergency situations
• OSHA laws require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing work duties that have the potential of risk to your health or safety
