Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street Boston is seeking a dedicated Server Assistant to join our Food & Beverage team. You will support the Server in delivering an exceptional dining experience, maintaining high standards of service, and helping ensure guest satisfaction in a luxury setting.

If you are personable, energetic, able to lift up to 40 lbs, and willing to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stock linen, china, and silver for service to ensure all are polished and in good condition.
• Clean soiled bar glassware and polish using the bar dish machine.
• Greet guests in a professional manner and serve beverages and food, explaining items and anticipating needs.
• Prepare condiment and garnish items for service.
• Assist with guest service including retrieving food from the kitchen and safely transporting it to the guest.
• Breakdown, clean, and set up tables, buffets, and food stations.

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess a keen attention to detail to join our Food & Beverage team as a Server Assistant!

The Server Assistant assists theServer in providing an enjoyable dining experienceto our guests whileconforming tothe restaurant’sstandards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness. The position clears tables and resets them neatly, rapidly and completely according to specification.The Server Assistant assist with the serving of food, set-up and clearing ofchina, glass, and silver from service as well as attend to guest needs and requests.

Job Requirements

We are looking for an individual who possesses an affinity for guest service!Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. The ability to perform this positiontothe restaurant’sstandards and learn the sequenceof service is required. The position requires the ability to lift up to 40lbs and applicants must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and a can-do approachto any request!

• Greet guests in a professional manner, serve beverage and food items while explaining the contents, and anticipate and service the guest’s needs before requests are necessary.




• Preparation of condiment and garnish items.




• Assistance with guest service including retrieving food from the kitchen using a tray and safely transporting it to guest, as well as removal of items from the guest’s table.




• Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations.

Preferred qualifications & skills:

• At minimum1 yearpreviousexperience in a fast pacedfood and beverage operation




• Exceptional communication skills and command of English language




• Additional language a definite asset for career growth
