Job summary

Main Event is seeking a Server Assistant to support the Server and ensure guests have an amazing experience. Your primary duties include refills, pre-bussing, turning tables, greeting guests, and handling drink overs while maintaining spotless dining areas.

You will work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment, participate in opening/closing duties, and collaborate with team members to deliver timely meals and memorable service.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus, but not required.
• Guest focused mindset and teamwork are essential.
• Effective communication with guests and team members is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills.

At Main Event, our Server Assistants are there to support the Server to ensure that our Guests have an amazing experience! As a Server Assistant, your primary duty is to help with refills, pre-bussing tables and helping with table turns, and making sure the dining areas are spotlessly clean! You also assist with aspects of service like greeting Guests and taking drink overs. You're also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Assisting with greeting Guests and taking drink orders
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest's needs
• Supporting the Server, by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables and turning tables
• Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus, but not required
• Guest focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required
• Communicates effectively
• Sense of urgency and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends
