ASH Hotels in New Orleans seeks a Server for our all-day restaurant. You will provide attentive, knowledgeable service from breakfast through dinner, handling orders, guidance on the menu, and guest interactions with warmth and professionalism.

The ideal candidate thrives in a busy dining room, knows the menu inside out, and moves quickly during rushes. Experience with POS and allergens is essential; flexible scheduling is required.

Formación

• Prior serving experience in a restaurant, cafe, or hotel F&B outlet preferred.
• Working knowledge of POS systems.
• Food Handler's and responsible alcohol service certifications or ability to obtain promptly.
• Strong menu knowledge and comfort discussing pairings.
• Excellent communication and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion for hospitality and memorable dining experiences.

Responsabilidades

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu with knowledge and enthusiasm.
• Take accurate orders and enter them correctly into the POS system.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and check guest satisfaction.
• Upsell menu items and bar programs in a natural, non-pushy way.
• Process payments, split checks, and handle cash/card transactions.
• Maintain knowledge of ingredients, prep methods, and allergens.
• Communicate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely orders.
• Set up and break down dining areas with proper cleanliness and settings.
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices and verify age.
• Address guest concerns promptly, involving a manager when needed.
