The Madison Senior Living in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a Server to join our team. This full-time role involves greeting residents, taking orders, delivering meals, and supporting a warm dining room environment.

The position runs Tuesday through Saturday, 6:30am to 2:30pm, at 14001 Madison Avenue. Candidates must be at least 16, fluent in English, energetic, able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• English proficiency with Residents (minimum 8th grade)
• Positive, energetic attitude
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
• Must be criminally cleared

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room
• Assist with setting tables, meal prep, and maintaining cleanliness
• Buss, clear, and tidy dining areas to ensure a pleasant environment
• Communicate needs to supervisors and Wellness staff

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

6:30am to 2:30pm

• Be an “Appetite Anthropologist”: Communicate with supervisors and Wellness

when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.
