Arrow Senior Living's Vitalia Montrose in Copley, OH is seeking a part-time server to greet residents, seat guests, and support mealtime service. This role operates 4:00pm–7:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Sundays, at 4041 Heritage Center Drive, Copley, OH 44321.

You will contribute to a home-like environment and help ensure residents enjoy meals. The position emphasizes a positive attitude, English communication, physical stamina to stand and lift up to 50 pounds, and the ability to assist

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• Read, write and communicate in English at an 8th grade level.
• Positive, energetic attitude toward residents.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day.
• Ability to lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, including after a fall.
• Criminal background check clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and ensure they feel welcomed during dining.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and encourage social connections.
• Prepare tables, salads, and service items to support meal service.
• Buss tables and maintain a tidy dining area.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness about changes in residents' appetite or meals.

• Be an “Appetite Anthropologist”: Communicate with supervisors and Wellness

when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.
