Vitalia Westlake is seeking a part-time Server in Westlake, OH to greet residents, assist with dining service, and maintain a welcoming dining environment. Shift is 4:30pm–7:30pm on Mon, Tue, Sun, with a weekly schedule; residents’ needs and dietary intake will be monitored in coordination with the Wellness team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
• Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at least at an 8th grade level with Residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day.
• Able to lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
• Criminal background cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome, be present in the dining room, mingle and foster social connections.
• Assist with meal service setup and cleaning, including bussing and tidying dining areas.
• Support residents with sitting, standing, and mobility needs, including after falls when needed.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness team about dietary intake and changes.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.
