Job summary

Vitalia Strongsville, operated by Arrow Senior Living, is seeking a part‑time Server to greet residents, assist during meals, and maintain a welcoming dining room environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, a positive attitude, and strong English communication.

Shifts run Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday from 4:00pm to 7:30pm at the Strongsville, OH location. The team values residents’ well‑being and a home‑like atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade level.
• Role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling and stooping throughout shift.
• Ability to lift/move items up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Criminal clearances as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room.
• Prepare tables and assist with meal service and cleanup.
• Buss and tidy dining areas; maintain cleanliness and order.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff about appetite changes.

• Be an “Appetite Anthropologist:” Communicate with supervisors and Wellness

when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.
