Job summary

Vitalia Rockside is seeking a friendly Server for a part-time schedule in Seven Hills, Ohio. The role supports dining services, greets residents, and helps ensure a positive dining experience. The position requires standing, walking, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with a focus on hospitality and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with Residents.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Must have a positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling and stooping all day.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome, be present in the dining room and foster interaction.
• Assist with table prep and setup for service, maintain clean areas and handle bussing tasks.
• Keep dining areas tidy and assist with transport of items as needed.
• Communicate dietary observations to supervisors and Wellness when changes are noticed.

when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.
