Job summary

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Server at Vitalia Mentor in Mentor, OH. You will greet residents, assist with meal service, and ensure a welcoming dining experience in a home-like community.

Shifts are Wednesdays to Saturdays, 4:30pm–7:30pm. You should be energetic, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and committed to resident care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with Residents.
• Positive, energetic attitude toward Residents.
• Must be physically active: stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop all day.
• Ability to frequently lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
• Criminal history must be clear.

Responsibilities

• Greet Residents and make them feel welcome; be present in the dining room and foster social connections.
• Assist with meal service prep, setting tables, and maintaining service readiness.
• Bus tables and keep dining areas tidy to support a pleasant community environment.
• Communicate dietary observations and residents' meal changes to Supervisors and Wellness.
• Support residents with sitting, standing, walking, and assistance after falls when needed.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.
