The Crestone Senior Living in Olathe, KS is seeking a part-time Server to greet residents, deliver meals, and maintain a welcoming dining room. The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and a friendly environment supporting residents' daily life.

Shifts are Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30am to 7:30pm. Pay ranges from $15 to $22 per hour, with benefits including insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, and opportunities for growth within the community.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• English reading/writing at 8th grade level or higher.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Criminal background clear.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room.
• Prepare service areas and set tables; assist with meal service.
• Bus tables and maintain a tidy dining environment.
• Communicate dietary observations to supervisors and Wellness when needed.

• To be a Titan of Tidiness: Bussing tables, sweeping floors - we know it's not glamorous, but this important role plays a crucial part in making the community something we can be proud of.
• Be an "Appetite Anthropologist": Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.
