Arrow Senior Living is seeking a part-time server for Barrymore in Kansas City, MO. The role involves greeting residents, ensuring a welcoming dining experience, and supporting meal service with a positive, energetic attitude.

Shifts run Friday and Saturday from 11:30am to 7:30pm. The team emphasizes resident quality of life and a home-like environment with growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Read, write and communicate in English at least at 8th grade level.
• Positive, energetic attitude toward residents.
• Active, able to stand/walk/bend/kneel/stoop all day.
• Able to lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
• Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, or after a fall.
• Criminal background clearance.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining area.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster connections.
• Assist with meal service prep and table readiness.
• Communicate resident dietary changes or absence to supervisors.

• Be an “Appetite Anthropologist:” Communicate with supervisors and Wellness

when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.
