Job summary

Arrow Senior Living in Ankeny, IA is hiring a part-time Server to greet residents, assist with dining services, and maintain a welcoming community environment. You will support meal service, help with table settings, and keep dining areas clean, while ensuring residents receive attentive care.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old, can read and write English at an 8th grade level, and enjoy engaging with residents. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room.

• Bus tables and help keep the dining area tidy.
• Observe residents' dietary habits and communicate changes to supervisors.

• Be an Appetite Anthropologist: Communicate with supervisors and Wellness

when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.
