Job summary

Arrow Senior Living in Little Rock, AR is seeking a friendly Part-Time Server to greet residents, assist with seating, and support dining service in the Summit community.

Shift Tue, Wed and Thu 4:30pm–7:30pm; you must be 16+, proficient in English, able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds, and help keep dining areas welcoming and tidy. You’ll join a compassionate team and enjoy benefits, opportunities for growth, and a home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Active and energetic attitude when interacting with residents.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and assist with seating in the dining room.
• Maintain clean and tidy dining areas and buss tables as needed.
• Hold to high standards of hospitality and service for residents during meals.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness team about resident needs and changes in appetite.

4:30pm to 7:30pm

• Be an “Appetite Anthropologist”: Communicate with supervisors and Wellness

when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.
