Server Job Description – Rokka Grill & Whiskey Bar

Rokka Grill & Whiskey Bar is looking for a confident, guest-focused Server who does more than take orders — someone who can create a great dining experience, make thoughtful recommendations, and help guests enjoy the best of what Rokka has to offer.

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Previous serving or customer service experience is highly preferred.

Server Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
• Take food and drink orders accurately and with a positive attitude
• Repeat orders back to guests to help avoid mistakes
• Learn the menu and confidently make food, cocktail, whiskey, and special recommendations
• Upsell menu items, drinks, appetizers, desserts, and specials when appropriate
• Check on guests throughout their meal and resolve concerns quickly
• Communicate clearly with bussers, bartenders, cooks, and management
• Ensure tables are served properly and in a timely manner
• Process payments accurately using the POS system
• Maintain clean and organized service areas
• Support a polished, welcoming guest experience
