Job summary

Postino WineCafe in West Lake Hills, TX is hiring a Server to join a collaborative team delivering full-service experiences. You will guide guests through ordering, input items into the POS, deliver meals, present checks, and process payments, coordinating with teammates to ensure guests have everything they need.

We seek candidates with 1 year of full-service restaurant experience, State Food Handler’s Management Certification, and Responsible Alcohol Service Certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-service restaurant experience is required.
• State Food Handler’s Management Certification is required.
• Responsible Alcohol Service Certification is required.
• High-school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through the ordering process and assist with menu selections.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests and check back for satisfaction.
• Present checks and process payments in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other service staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Server your responsibility is to work in a team setting to deliver a full service experience to guests by guiding guests through the process of ordering food and beverages, accurately entering the items into the POS system, delivering completed items to the guest, presenting the check in a timely manner and completing payment. This position works with other service positions to ensure guests have everything they need throughout their experience.
