Job summary

Wet Willie's is hiring for a server to provide attentive service of food and beverages and to greet guests with friendliness. You will take orders, input into the POS, and deliver meals while ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include maintaining station cleanliness, explaining specials, and adhering to liquor policies and regulations. Must be able to stand for long periods and communicate effectively in English.

• Must be 18 years of age or older to serve alcohol (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Service of food and beverages, including taking orders, delivering, and clearing items.
• Check station for setup and cleanliness before, during, and after shift.
• Greet guests, explain specials and promotions to raise guest awareness.
• Take orders and input into POS to inform kitchen staff.
• Retrieve orders from kitchen, confirm accuracy, and deliver to guests.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Comply with state and federal regulations and liquor policies for serving alcohol.

Job description

• Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items
• Checks station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness
• Takes the order and inputs the order into the Point of Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order
• Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy and delivers it to guests
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Food Worker Card required
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
