Job summary

Wet Willie's is seeking an energetic server to greet guests, take orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will input orders into the POS, verify accuracy, and process payments while maintaining a clean station and courteous demeanor.

Requirements include at least 18 years old, a high school diploma, and prior serving experience preferred. Strong English communication and math skills are essential for successful performance in a busy restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Possess basic math skills and the ability to handle money, as well as operate a POS system.
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Be able to hear customers from 15 feet away in a noisy environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays up to 25 pounds frequently for prolonged periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items
• Checks station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness
• Takes the order and inputs the order into the Point of Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order
• Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy and delivers it to guests
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
• Prepare final bill, check for accuracy, retrieve and process payment in a timely manner
• Thanks guests for their visit and invites them to return
