Job summary

Qualifications

• Set tables, polish glasses, and maintain workstations.

Summary of Position:

Responsible for serving food and/or beverages in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the company’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately take orders from guests, submit to kitchen using Point-of-Sales (POS)software, deliver food and drinks, bus tables or assist busser/runner
• Knowledge of restaurant and bar menu promotions and specials
• In an honest and timely manner, prepare checks, process credit cards, accept andmake accurate change for cash payments
• Ensure alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages are served in accordance with Federal,State, Local regulations and Company procedures
• Provide timely, courteous service to all guests throughout the meal service
• Set tables, polish glasses, prepare workstations and other side work as assigned
• Accurately prepare sales and tip reports at shift’s end, deposit cash and credit cardreceipts
• Understand Company ISO (Environmental & Quality) management systems, Healthand Safety standards, policies, goals and initiatives and meet the specificresponsibilities within these areas
• Complete other front of house duties such as host, and busser- food runner asneeded to meet business requirements
• Other duties per Duties Checklist and as requested

Position Requirements:

• Obtain ServSafe Certification in accordance with Company F&B policy
• Excellent customer service and people skills
• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to count change and reconcile paperwork
• Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximityto other people
