Job summary

Hawaii Volcanoes Lodge Company LLC seeks a dedicated team member to maintain clean dining areas, assist servers, and deliver food promptly with a friendly demeanor. You will support guests and maintain high service standards in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include prompt guest greetings, coordination with servers, and adherence to health, safety, and company procedures. Flexibility for day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 6 months in a restaurant establishment.
• Obtain ServSafe Certification per Company policy.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they are seated and provide required food amenities promptly.
• Communicate with Servers and Hosts regarding guest needs and table availability.
• Ensure beverages are served in compliance with regulations.
• Assist servers to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks thoroughly and professionally.
• Follow ISO, Health & Safety standards and policies.

Job description

Responsible for cleaning areas in the restaurant / bar and work stations and delivering food in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the Company's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities:

• Promptly greet guests as they are seated providing required food amenities in a timely manner according to Company procedures
• Communicate in a timely and efficient manner with Servers and Hosts regarding guest needs and table availability to ensure extraordinary service
• Ensure alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages are served in accordance with Federal, State, Local regulations and Company procedures
• Assist servers as needed to provide exceptional guest service
• Thoroughly and professionally complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks
• Understand Company ISO (Environmental and Quality) management systems, Health and Safety standards, policies, goals and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas
• Other duties per Duties Checklist and as requested

Position Requirements:

• Obtain ServSafe Certification in accordance with Company policy as required
• Excellent customer service and people skills
• Ability to take direction and change tasks quickly
• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
• Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people

Education and Experience:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Minimum (6) months in a restaurant establishment
