Job summary

Yardbird, a Southern hospitality icon in Miami Beach, invites a friendly Server to join our team. You will ensure guests have a memorable dining experience through attentive service, accurate order-taking, and timely delivery of food and beverages.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in high-volume upscale dining, possesses a High school diploma, and holds alcohol service certifications; flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is a must.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Food Server in a high-volume upscale dining environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Alcohol, beer and wine service certifications (e.g., Court of Master Sommeliers, Bar Smarts, WSET) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed.
• Present menus, answer questions, and provide recommendations on menu items, daily specials, and beverages.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
• Monitor tables throughout the meal and anticipate guest needs.
• Deliver dishes and beverages with clear communication to guests.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Set up and clear tables, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness.
• Adhere to alcohol policies and verify ID when necessary.
• Possess flexibility to work various hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

We are seeking a friendly, attentive,and customer-focusedServerto join our team. The idealcandidate will ensure guests have a memorable dining experience by providingexceptional service, accurate order-taking, and timely delivery of food andbeverages.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to thefollowing:

• Greet guests promptly and warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed.
• Present menus, answer questions, and provide recommendations on menuitems, daily specials, and beverages.
• Ensure guests’ dining experience is enjoyable by addressing theirneeds and concerns promptly.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, input them into the POSsystem, and communicate any special requests to the kitchen.
• Monitor tables throughout the meal to ensure satisfaction andrespond to additional requests.
• Input all individual orders into the POS in accordance to guestposition numbers and never “auctions” food upon delivery.
• Properly serves all dishes with clear and concise verbiage andplaces each dish properly in front of the guests.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Set up and clear tables efficiently, including removing used dishes,resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Assist with pre-service and post-service duties, such as restockingsupplies and polishing glassware.
• Adhere to Company policies regarding alcohol service and verifyidentification when necessary.
• Able to work flexible hours, including off hours, weekends andholidays.

Preferred:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Food Server in a high volume,upscale dining environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Alcohol, beer and wine service certifications including but notlimited to Court of Master Sommeliers, Certified Beer Server, Bar Smarts,WSET, etc.
