Job summary

The Lodge at Woodloch in Hawley, PA seeks a friendly server to communicate warmth, confidence and menu knowledge to guests in our dining room. You will promote beverages to help guests make informed choices and set each table's timing while delivering attentive service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include regular and timely attendance, thorough knowledge of all food and beverage offerings, maintaining clean, stocked workstations, and coordinating with hosts, runners and management to ensure guest

  • Communicate with host and runners regarding status of tables and dining room needs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all quality standards, policies/procedures and administrative requirements are adhered to.
  • Reviews and ensures that all annual performance appraisals are properly and timely completed.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all food and beverage we serve.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all service standards and organizational systems used in our restaurant.
  • Attend daily line up.
  • Maintain a proficient knowledge of the Resortsuite system.
  • Properly serve food and beverage.
  • Table maintenance and clearing.
  • Keep workstations, clean organized and well stocked.
  • Help coworkers whenever possible.
  • Communicate with host and runners regarding status of tables.
  • Communicate with management staff regarding dining room needs and satisfaction of guests.
  • Perform all assigned side work.
  • Performs any other tasks assigned by management.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: The primary duty of the server is to communicate warmth, confidence and menu knowledge to every guest in our dining room. It will be your role to sell our beverages in a way that helps our guests make choices that will help them make educated choices to separate this experience from others. Additionally, you will set each table’s timing while performing the following duties.

  • Ensures that all quality standards, policies/procedures and administrative requirements are adhered to according to Employee, Accounting and Departmental Reference Manuals.
  • Reviews and ensures that all annual performance appraisals are properly and timely completed.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all food and beverage we serve.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all service standards and organizational systems used in our restaurant.
  • Attend daily line up.
  • Maintain a proficient knowledge of the Resortsuite system.
