Job summary

George’s Breakfast and Brunch is seeking an entry-level server to join our front-of-house team in a fast-paced breakfast/brunch setting. You will greet guests, take orders, and deliver food with a focus on accuracy and friendly service.

This part-time role offers morning shifts, opportunities to earn tips, and ongoing training in a supportive environment. Prior restaurant experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as scheduling requires.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality for assigned shifts.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and splitting checks.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; willing to obtain local certifications.
• Spanish or other bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide a friendly, attentive dining experience from seating through payment.
• Take accurate orders and make knowledgeable menu recommendations, highlighting specials and add-ons.
• Operate the POS system, process payments, and handle cash responsibly.
• Deliver food and beverages quickly and ensure orders meet quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and dining areas; reset tables for the next guests.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to manage timing and guest requests.
• Support opening or closing duties, including sidework and basic inventory checks.
