Tiki Tatsu-Ya is seeking a Server to provide an exceptional dining experience for guests. You will use strong communication and attention to detail to enhance guest satisfaction and ensure smooth service operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean stations, taking accurate orders, informing the kitchen of changes, and handling payments. Must be 18+, possess food handler and TABC certificates, and be able to lift 25-50 lbs.

What is the job?:

As a Server at Tatsu-Ya, you will be a key player in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Utilizing your strong communication skills and attention to detail, you will enhance guest satisfaction and ensure smooth service operations.

• Ensure service stations are clean, organized, and fully stocked for efficient service, while also wiping down and setting up tables according to the floor chart, ensuring all table settings are accurate and presentable.
• Take and review proper notes during pre-shift meetings about menu changes and specials, cocktails, and large parties to stay informed.
• Greet tables in a friendly and timely manner, ensuring guests understand the concept and dining style.
• Double-check with each table about any allergies and dietary restrictions to ensure safe and accurate meal preparation.
• Comply with alcohol control policies to ensure the responsible service of alcoholic beverages.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring clarity and completeness, while informing the kitchen of large orders and coordinating the coursing of dishes to maintain a smooth service flow.
• Prepare and present checks to guests, handle payments, and process transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Handle customer complaints or issues professionally, seeking solutions to ensure guest satisfaction, and report any significant complaints to management.
• Follow the close-down checklist procedures and check out with a manager before leaving to ensure all tasks are completed and the shift ends smoothly.
