Job summary

Center For Family Services in Gloucester County, NJ is seeking a responsible Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate Coordinator to recruit, train, and manage volunteers who provide 24-hour accompaniment and advocacy to victims of sexual violence within the SERV program.

The CSVA Coordinator reports to the Program Coordinator and leads trainings for volunteers and staff, coordinates hotline coverage, engages with law enforcement and healthcare partners, and supports program outreach and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or work experience substitution on a year-for-year basis.
• Experience working with people one-to-one.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Public speaking is required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and manage Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate volunteers.
• Provide 24-hour hotline support and accompaniments to victims.
• Coordinate trainings for law enforcement, healthcare professionals, and SART team members.
• Market and promote the SERV program within the County.
