Overview

ProSidian seeks a SERE Section Lead / PR/SERE High Risk Training Instructor (HRTI) for High Risk Training Instructor (HRTI) Qualification Certified Survival, Evasion, Resistance, And Escape (SERE) And Personnel Recovery (PR) Support Services [USSOCOM / MARFORSOC / MRTC0010010]. This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Camp Lejeune, NC area with responsibilities supporting US Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARFORSOC) / USSOCOM / MRTC training initiatives.

Position details: Full-time W-2 employment on an exempt contract basis, working on-site at client locations, with typical benefits and compensation aligned to ProSidian practices.

Job Overview

Provide services and support as a SERE Section Lead / PR/SERE HRTI in the Defense and Security Industry focusing on Human Capital Solutions for MARFORSOC/ USSOCOM and related organizations. Deliver realistic high-risk SERE and PR training to prepare forces for isolation, and support training programs across the Southeastern United States / U.S. East Coast, generally located near Camp Lejeune, NC.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Serve as Section Lead with 2+ years of leadership on PR/SERE or SOF high-risk courses and 6+ years as a DoD FSLC SERE Instructor; be a resident PR/SERE SME with JPRA or equivalent credentials; hold SECRET clearance and meet all PR/SERE Senior Instructor requirements.
• Be identified as Key Personnel for this requirement per the Base IDIQ Clause 5652.237-9001.
• Lead duties within the SE (Survival/Evasion) and RE (Resistance/Escape) Sections; perform duties identified for SERE Instructors and oversee tasks such as coordination of contractor assignments, ensuring adherence to SOW and MARFORSOC PR/SERE and MRTC POIs, and reporting on training status.
• Communicate with Task Lead on manning and performance issues; serve as SME for PR/SERE events and fill coverage gaps as needed.
• Complete required courses or equivalent experience (e.g., SERE370, SERE360, SERE350, SERE348, PR303, PR397).
• Work location is Southeastern US / U.S. East Coast, on-site near Camp Lejeune, NC 28542, including related client sites such as USSOCOM / MARFORSOC / MRTC.
• Provide full training program development and execution support: POI development, course delivery, field exercises, ARLs, RTLs, and related labs.
• Perform Range Safety Officer (RSO) duties in support of PR/SERE.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience (military, contract, or civilian) as a Section Lead (SE or RE equivalent) for PR/SERE or SOF high-risk courses.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience as a SERE Instructor; SECRET clearance; meeting all PR/SERE Senior Instructor requirements; JPRA credentials or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved DoD FSLC SERE Course or equivalent (SERE Level C and PGDHD or equivalents) as certified on a DD214, or willingness to complete the MARFORSOC PR/SERE FSLC SERE course.
• Minimum 3 years of US military service with general discharge under honorable conditions.
• Subject matter expert in all PR/SERE training aspects, aligned with JPRA Guidelines and SOW requirements.

Education / Experience Requirements

• Provide qualified SMEs and fill required positions as part of MARFORSOC PR/SERE engagements; meet minimum requirements for High Risk Training Instructors as dictated by NAVMC Manual 1553.2, Appendix D.
• Develop and deliver course POIs, CoC, PR principles, TTPs, academic labs, field training, and RTLs; support updates and improvements to training content.
• Perform program management tasks including assessments, AARs, and course recovery coordination; develop new concepts and doctrine for MARFORSOC PR/SERE programs.
• Maintain professional judgment in applying regulations, policies, and courseware; ensure proper coverage and instructor ratings; complete CUIT and ITS upon hire to meet basic instructor rating requirements.

Candidate Requirements / Skills

• Strong leadership and supervision skills with an emphasis on SE/RE disciplines; ability to manage instructor Manning, POI compliance, and performance oversight; SECRET clearance required from day one; GS-12 equivalency).
• Excellent professional and management development focus, with an orientation toward continuous learning, leadership, client service, and technical expertise as defined by ProSidian competencies.

Facility / Travel

The role is located in the Southeastern United States / U.S. East Coast, near Camp Lejeune, NC 28542; initial work site: USSOCOM | MARFORSOC / MRTC, BLDG 1116, Sneads Ferry, NC 28547-8368.

Other Details

All personnel must meet HRTI requirements and pursue ongoing PR/SERE qualifications for the duration of the contract. A Standard FTE equals 1,920 hours/year with backfill requirements for extended absences; ensure qualified personnel are in place per SDS guidance.
