Job summary

Mosaic Biosciences, Inc. is seeking an Associate Scientist I-II to join the Antibody Discovery & Optimization team in Boulder, CO. This early-career role focuses on hands-on molecular biology and high-throughput workflows to support sequencing and antibody projects.

You will engage in routine lab work, learn automation-driven processes, and contribute to data quality and workflow improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in a life sciences field and relevant lab experience.
• Hands-on PCR, qPCR and DNA purification experience.
• Experience analyzing sequencing data (Sanger/NGS).
• Strong organization and data-traceability skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine molecular biology techniques including PCR, DNA purification, library prep, cloning, and nucleic acid quantification.
• Execute high-throughput sample prep workflows to support sequencing platforms.
• Track samples with strong documentation and ELN/LIMS usage.
• Prepare reagents and consumables for daily operations.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate with sequencing, antibody discovery, and protein engineering teams.
