Mesa Labs, Inc. is seeking a Research Associate II, Molecular Biology to support technology development and product research in a GLP-compliant lab. You will execute established protocols, help optimize assays, and collect data for senior scientists.

The role requires 0–2 years of relevant lab experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. You’ll work on cloning, PCR, sequencing, and protein expression, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in molecular biology
• 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience
• Knowledge of molecular cloning, PCR, and sequencing workflows
• Ability to document procedures and results accurately
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Compliance with GLP and safety guidelines

Responsibilities

• Perform molecular biology experiments using established protocols (cloning, PCR, sequencing, protein expression)
• Develop, optimize, and validate molecular biology assays
• Conduct data collection, documentation, and preparation of technical summaries
• Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams on projects
• Maintain lab notebooks and comply with safety and GLP requirements
• Participate in continuous improvement of lab processes and efficiency
