Job summary

Mosaic Biosciences, Inc. is seeking an Associate Scientist I-II to join the Antibody Discovery & Optimization team in Boulder, CO. The role focuses on hands‑on molecular biology, sample preparation for sequencing, and contributing to automation-driven workflows.

The successful candidate will handle routine procedures with increasing independence, ensure data integrity, and support continuous improvement of laboratory processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a life sciences field with hands-on molecular biology experience.
• Experience with PCR/qPCR and DNA purification.
• Experience analyzing sequencing data (Sanger/NGS) and using common tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine molecular biology techniques including PCR, DNA purification, library prep, cloning, and quantification from diverse sample types.
• Execute high-throughput sample prep workflows to support Sanger, Illumina, and long-read sequencing.
• Maintain meticulous ELN/LIMS records and track samples across complex workflows.
• Prepare reagents and supplies for daily lab operations and QC data for downstream processing.
• Collaborate with sequencing, antibody discovery, and protein engineering teams to meet project timelines.
