Job summary

Central Garden & Pet is seeking a Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing, SEO & Website Content to lead SEO strategy and website content management across brand websites and eCommerce platforms. The role drives search optimization, oversees technical and content enhancements, and measures digital performance against business goals.

The position is based in Schaumburg, IL or Phoenix, AZ in a hybrid environment, with four days in the office to support collaboration and learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years digital marketing experience with 5 years in Content Marketing/SEO.
• Experience leading website functionality, content load, and migrations.
• CMS experience with Sitecore/WordPress.
• Knowledge of marketing tech software (HubSpot CRM a plus).
• Experience with SEO analytics platforms (Search Console, SEMrush, Majestic, Lumar).
• 5+ years tracking and reporting digital marketing campaigns (GTM, events).
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Effective communication across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Spanish fluency is a plus.
• Ability to translate data into clear reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEO across owned websites and eComm, monitor performance and guide optimization.
• Manage content deployment and product data for brand sites and eCommerce.
• Oversee external agencies on website and microsite builds and QA.
• Collaborate with brand, digital marketing and design teams and vendors.
• Provide SEO training and CMS training for internal teams.
• Be thought leader on trends and new technologies.
