Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Draftsman to join the Sentry Mechanical Engineering team. You will own the quality of drawings and CAD files, coordinate cross-department documentation, and mentor junior engineers to uplift engineering documentation and standards.

The role supports both legacy and new product design files, collaborating with Sustainment and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure accurate, production-ready drawings for defense-grade systems.

Qualifications

• 3D CAD proficiency and ability to apply GD&T to create high quality drawings.
• 5+ years CAD experience in defense or consumer product designs.
• Associates Degree in Computer Design, CAD, Graphics, or a related field.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality of drawings and CAD files across the Sentry Mechanical Engineering team.
• Coordinate CAD designs and released documentation to meet internal and government standards.
• Mentor junior engineers on drawing and CAD process to meet engineering standards and best practices.
• Release and update legacy and new product design files with Sustainment, Manufacturing Engineering, and Configuration Management.
