Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical/electromechanical design experience in a professional setting.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3D CAD proficiency and GD&T knowledge.
• Hands-on fabrication experience.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own ruggedized hardware design from concept to production realization under condensed timelines.
• Use first principles physics as a basis for every decision.
• Lead design reviews, run analysis, and define and execute hardware test plans to ensure product reliability.
• Build prototypes of complex electromechanical systems.
• Coordinate across internal departments to build prototypes and transition concepts into production.
• Support hardware demonstrations and travel to test sites as needed.
