Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager 2 in Huntsville, AL to lead a team within the Sentinel Program and drive system engineering activities across interfaces, requirements, and verification.

The role requires strong leadership, ethics, and collaboration across directorates, with a focus on MBSE, DOORS, and Cameo tooling. Relocation assistance may be available and a Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 8 years of related experience; or a Master’s in STEM with 6 years.
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance with recent investigation.
• 1 year of ICBM experience (MMIII or Sentinel).
• 2 years of MBSE tools use (SysML/DoDAF/Cameo or Rhapsody).
• Sentinel program access (PAR) is required.

Responsibilities

• Functionally manage a team of systems engineers, including goal setting and performance reviews.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and career guidance within the FHR and sections.
• Oversee system architecture development, requirements management, and verification planning.
• Collaborate with internal and government customers to report program status.
• Balance functional oversight with technical assignments on SDS projects.
