Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Sensory Technician to coordinate and maintain the sensory lab, manage samples and panel sessions, and support sensory training activities. The role focuses on creating a safe, efficient environment for sensory testing and data collection.

Key responsibilities include lab practice compliance, equipment maintenance, inventory control, sample procurement, and documentation updates to ensure high-quality sensory data and smooth study execution.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Lab experience preferred in classroom or work setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• EyeQuestion knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote good laboratory practices and safe laboratory behaviors.
• Support maintenance plans for sensory equipment and facilities.
• Maintain inventory of samples and materials in the sensory lab.
• Assist in coordinating and procuring samples and supplies.
• Maintain documentation of procedures and best practices.
• Assist in equipment calibration programs.
• Ensure efficient use of lab resources.
• Contribute ideas to improve operations.
