Zusammenfassung

Nestlé USA is seeking a Sensory Associate Specialist to lead and support all sensory testing activities, translate data into insights, and provide actionable business recommendations. You will manage trained panels and coordinate studies with Sensory & Product Experience Specialists.

You will onboard and train panelists, develop glossaries, plan sessions, ensure proper sample handling, perform univariate analyses, and present concise reports.

Qualifikationen

• BS or BA in Food Science or related field.
• Technical training in QDA analysis.
• Experience in quantitative descriptive panel training and moderation is a plus.
• Strong computer skills: MS-Office (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook). Sensory data collection and statistical software (e.g. SIMS 2000, XLSTAT, Eye Question, FIZZ, SAS) is a plus.
• Experience with statistical analysis and reporting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Flexible work hours, as required by the business.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage sensory panelists and studies; translate data into insights and actionable business recommendations.
• Onboard and train descriptive sensory panels; develop glossaries and protocols; manage reference database.
• Plan, schedule, and run panel sessions; manage samples and sensory references.
• Collaborate with technicians for accurate sample preparation and study setup.
• Develop and maintain testing procedures and study documentation; create test questionnaires; manage global glossaries.
• Perform univariate statistical analysis and translate findings into concise reports with business insights.
• Support best practices and continuous improvement of sensory methodologies and standards.
