Job summary

Baker Hughes, through its Bently Nevada division, seeks a Sensors Engineer, Product Performance Engineering - Electrical, to sustain and improve sensor technologies across their lifecycle. You will characterize sensors, troubleshoot, test, and provide engineering support to ensure reliability and manufacturing continuity.

Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and Product teams to investigate issues, apply statistical analyses, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • 2-5 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Experience supporting sensor products or instrumentation.
  • Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Characterize, test, troubleshoot, and sustain sensor products.
  • Evaluate sensor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support manufacturing by investigating issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct root cause investigations and propose solutions.
  • Support sensor-related software tools and lab equipment.
  • Perform lab testing and engineering analysis to validate designs.
  • Analyze data using statistical techniques to find trends.
  • Maintain technical documentation and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
