Job summary

Baker Hughes, in partnership with its Bently Nevada business, seeks a Sensors Engineer, Product Performance Engineering – Electrical to sustain and advance sensor technologies across their lifecycle. You will characterize sensors, troubleshoot, test, and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to improve reliability and performance.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, data-driven improvements, and support for sensor software tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience supporting sensor products, sensor manufacturing, or instrumentation technologies.
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Experience working in laboratory and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Characterize, test, and sustain Bently Nevada sensors.
• Evaluate sensor performance and drive improvements.
• Support manufacturing by investigating issues.
• Perform root-cause investigations with solutions.
• Maintain lab instruments, tools, and standards.
• Analyze data and apply statistics for trends.
• Document procedures and technical records.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality.
