Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an Electronics Engineer to lead the design, development and testing of hardware electronics for energy solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to connect hardware and software and deliver reliable devices.

Responsibilities include end-to-end hardware development, design reviews, documentation, debugging, and supporting embedded firmware. Proficiency in CAD tools and SAP experience are valuable.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Engineering qualification required.
• At least 1 year in product design, system integration or DFM.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (Altium, KiCAD, Inventor) is preferred.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environment concepts is desirable.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end hardware development from concept to post-launch support.
• Design and review system architecture and power solutions for performance and safety.
• Coordinate with PCB layout contractors and design houses.
• Translate requirements into precise technical specs and docs.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments and regulatory planning.
• Collaborate with embedded software, manufacturing and regulatory teams.
• Document hardware development in compliance with regulations.
• Hands-on debugging, lab testing and product validation.
• Support embedded firmware to ensure hardware/software integration.
• Utilize SAP for production activity support and ERP data accuracy.
