Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking a Perception & Fusion Engineer to develop real-time sensor software across varied autonomous platforms. You will fuse data from EO, IR, lidar, radar, acoustics, and RF, and build interfaces to control sensors and processing pipelines.

You will work with DoD customers and internal teams to deploy scalable fusion systems, optimize performance, and document progress in a fast-paced environment at our Sunnyvale office.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Robotics, CS, Optimization or equivalent, or 5+ years of relevant sensor-software experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain real-time sensor software for heterogeneous autonomous platforms.
• Design, implement, and rapidly integrate sensor fusion algorithms across domains (land, air, sea, space).
• Create interfacing software to autonomously control sensors (EO, IR, acoustics, radar, RF).
• Collaborate with sensor, tracking, and autonomy teams to deploy platform swarms for on-site testing and demos.
• Deploy containerized solutions to embedded Linux devices; collect performance data for analysis.
• Engage with DoD customers to understand use cases and triage field requirements.
• Document progress and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
