Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Zscaler Engineer to own enterprise Zscaler environments end-to-end across ZIA, ZPA, Workloads, and ZDX. You will design, configure, and administer security policies while communicating complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in Zscaler engineering, current Zscaler certification, and the ability to troubleshoot independently across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Zscaler engineering experience, recent and deep.
• Strong experience across ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler for Workloads, and ZDX.
• Proven ZIA/ZPA disaster recovery experience with current Zscaler certification.
• Confidence troubleshooting complex enterprise networking and security issues independently.
• Excellent communication to explain issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Flexibility to cover Eastern and Central US time zones.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end design, configuration, and administration of enterprise Zscaler environments (ZIA, ZPA, Workloads, ZDX).
• Manage security, access, and traffic policies; maintain and optimise.
• Plan and implement disaster recovery for ZIA and ZPA; identify failure points early.
• Serve as senior technical point of contact and translate complex issues for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams.
