Job summary

Agile Defense, LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to enable DHS mission-critical enterprise network infrastructure. You will design, deploy, and optimize Zscaler deployments (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX) and drive Zero Trust adoption across cloud and on-prem environments.

Lead policy governance, perform RCA analyses, and coordinate with IAM to align SAML/SCIM attributes with IdPs. Expect Tier 2/3 support, on-call duties, and up to 20% travel nationwide. This role is based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying enterprise Zscaler deployments (ZIA/ZPA/ZDX).
• Ability to configure SAML/SCIM attributes with IdPs like Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), or Ping Identity.
• Experience in multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for complex network issues.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, administer, upgrade, and optimize enterprise Zscaler security across cloud and on-prem.
• Create and tune security policies including URL filtering, DLP, and SSL inspection.
• Lead zero-trust policy implementations and direct internal access without VPN.
• Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support for network issues.
• Maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and change tickets.
• Coordinate with IAM for SAML/SCIM attributes.
• Participate in RCA and post-incident reviews.
• Support on-call rotations and emergency change requests.
• Travel up to 20% within the United States.
