Job summary

BlackLake Security is seeking a Senior Zscaler Engineer for a remote, project-based consulting role. You will design, implement, and optimize ZIA and ZPA for client deployments, and work closely with stakeholders to meet security objectives.

You will lead workshops, document configurations, and integrate Zscaler with existing security ecosystems. Strong scripting and networking knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of network security in large-scale operations.
• Hands-on with ZIA and ZPA deployments and troubleshooting.
• CASB design, architecture, and deployment (CloudSOC, Symantec/BlueCoat).
• Scripting in Python and Bash.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ZIA and ZPA solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot ZIA/ZPA environments for peak performance and security.
• Collaborate with clients to assess security needs and deploy customized Zscaler strategies.
• Conduct technical workshops, training, and knowledge transfer for client teams.
• Integrate Zscaler with existing security tools and infrastructure.
• Provide advanced-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for Zscaler issues.
• Research and deploy Shadow IT/Unsanctioned Applications.
• Develop and maintain design diagrams, configuration guides, and runbooks.
