Responsibilities include building, deploying, automating, and monitoring security solutions, creating dashboards and reports, and providing risk-informed guidance with SOAR and compliance in mind.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer with a strong focus on cyber security to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years or more of hands-on experience in network security and a deep understanding of the network security landscape, Zero Trust capabilities, and Zscaler security solutions. This role involves engineering, implementing, and maintaining impactful security solutions to protect our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer solutions including initial state, build, deploy, tune, optimize, automation, and continuous monitoring.
• Create content filters, rules, dashboards, network security KPIs/KRIs, and reports.
• Provide cybersecurity, compliance, and audit evidence for monitored network systems.
• Identify and implement automation of repetitive tasks through Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR).
• Provide ongoing engineering support and operation of Zscaler Cyberthreat Protection, Data Protection, and Zero Trust Network products.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in network security, infrastructure security, cloud security, edge security, network data security, and other networking cybersecurity-related controls and technologies including DNS, Firewalls, and Zero Trust.
• Deep knowledge of the network security landscape and advanced level understanding of Zero Trust capabilities.
• Prior experience with configuration and management of Zscaler cloud security solutions, including Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
• Ability to identify security risks and weaknesses and provide security mitigation and remediation recommendations.
• Individual contributor role supporting network security technologies, network cyber defense, security engineering tools with Zscaler, threat monitoring, and network security.
