Job summary

Think Together is seeking Older Youth Leaders (OYLS) to work part-time with an assigned class of 20-25 students, providing mentorship, academic enrichment, and physical activity using provided curriculum. You will model positive behavior, support lesson plans, supervise safety, manage sign-ins, and contribute to a year-long program with punctuality and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Requires 60+ college units or a bachelor's degree.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English in a public-school setting.
• Minimum age 22; Live Scan/background check; TB test.
• Experience with groups of 10+ students in educational or recreational settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of approximately 25 students in an instructional setting, maintaining behavior and safety.
• Provide homework assistance, academic enrichment and physical activity using program materials.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging and supports positive behavior choices.
• Support lesson plans and engage older youth through active, collaborative, and meaningful instruction.
• Ensure safety, assist with sign-in/sign-outs, and communicate needs to supervisors.
