GovPlanet, a Ritchie Bros company, seeks a Senior Yard Staff to safely receive, merchandise, track inventory, and support check-out of items. The role requires mechanical aptitude for repairs and potential work at government or RB locations.

Responsibilities include leading activities, inventories, asset tracking, and coordinating logistics while maintaining high customer service standards and safety practices.

• Performs maintenance and heavy repairs on equipment.
• Merchandises and inspects items for sale.
• Boosts equipment.
• Performs complex demilitarization and deidentification.
• Checks fluid and fuel levels on equipment.
• Assist in coordinating logistics.
• Interacts with customers.
• Travels to other locations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

We are offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus for this role.

Please note: If you are a temporary worker or internal employee working for RB Global, you do not qualify for this bonus.

The Senior Yard Staff safely receives, merchandises, uses inventory accountability practices, operates MHE, and facilitates check-out of items. They utilize a heavy mechanical aptitude to complete repairs and maintenance on items. They may perform their duties at customer locations, RB Global facilities, and/or Government Locations. Strict adherence to the Ritchie Bros. standard of customer service is always expected of the Yard Staff.
